Branding

Through a series of visual-based lectures on building brand campaigns, understand how values are packaged in visual identity systems. The Corporate Identity & Design module complements the Branding module

Marketing Overview
A good overview to refrsh your acquired marketing knowledge and a good foundation for freshmen. This module will go through the golden rules of marketing traditions that have survived in all times and serve as a good guideline on how to integrate offline marketing with online marketing. Understanding marketing processes, how to analyse your market positiing through SWOT analysis, how marketing segmentation influences your message development will be some of the areas covered. Dervie insights from research and formulate your strategies through findings in consumer behaviour.
Copywriting

This module covers the two pillars of creative advertising--crafting and writing a good ad. Discover techniques, concepts and purposes of copywriting in the digital age and art direction in creative advertising. Complemented by the typography & communication design module, students will be able to apply copywriting and art direction to their advertising masterpiece.

Digital Marketing
What is digital marketing in today's marketplace? Understanding Owned, Earned and Paid media. Techniques for search engine optimisation (SEO) and how to measure the success of search engine marketing (SEM). Using a framework of profiling digital audiences in startegising your digital plan.
Content Marketing and Creation (storytelling)

Content is king, conversation is Queen. It is science to understand your audience, it is an art to make them follow you. You will learn what content marketing is and how to engage your online community through storytelling.

Entry Requirements

For Singapore Citizen / PR

  • Applicants are to be aged 17 or above when applying.
  • GCE 'N' level with minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in the marketing field or
  • ITE / GCE 'Ó' level or equivalent, or
  • Diploma or Degree holders with major in Marketing may apply exemption for the marketing module.

For Others (with valid visa)

VIETNAM - Minimum year 10 education

CHINA - High School Senior Level 2 or equivalent

INDONESIA - SMU2

MALAYSIA - SPM / STPM / Chinese Independent – High School Senior Level 2

OTHERS

  • Minimum year 10 education
  • China and other countries : High School Senior Level 2 and above or equivalent Diplomas
  • Indonesian : SMU2 and above
  • Malaysia : SPM/STPM/Chinese Independent – High School Senior 2
  • Others : Min Year 10 and above.

Exemption will be considered for applicants with related working experience or graduates from other design schools. (Exemption for design modules is strictly based on portfolio evaluation and interview)
