With critical thinking skills lacking in many of the local graduates since it wasn’t specially taught in tertiary schools, we have come to realize that our local designers have been lagging their overseas counterpart in various departments like problem solving, empathy, etc. Participants will learn how the creative process fits into the planning process and how to distinguish the difference between strategic development and execution (design).

In this module, participants will get to learn how to use various platforms available to get data and analyze them for content marketing, competitive analysis & research purposes.

Students will learn the importance of how to integrate typography, basic design elements, principles of design, visual composition and relationships to develop and resolve visual problems. This course also provides students with the theoretical and practical experiences of typography as a visual language and its application in visual communication design.

One of two main pillars of this program, this User Interface (UI) Design module aims to teach students how to conceptualize, plan and design attractive and compelling UI design of an app or a website.

With the gaining acceptance of online buying, businesses are starting to build up their e-commerce capabilities either with their own website or through online marketplace like Lazada, Shopee, etc. It helps if the designer understand how the latest digital tools and how Content Management System (CMS) works to be more efficient in their work.

Project Management involves planning, monitoring and coordination of different aspects of a project in order to finish a project successfully with the desired outcome. This module aims to equip the UXUI designer the required skills that are highly desirable in the workplace, by allowing students to refine their planning and time management skills to be more versatile, efficient and self-reliant.

In this final chapter, we reckon participants would have already tried their hands on what they have learnt in class onto their daily job scope and will have some burning questions to ask. This is where we allow a small group of students from the same intake to recap on some of the identified topics they have learnt and see how we can better help them in performing their jobs better with this additional class after they have completed their 10 core modules.
