Here at CMA, informative talks and events are always held for our students. Various industry players as well as various agencies will conduct these talks and events. We firmly believe that these talks and events will supplement our student's education here at CMA.

Why ogle at Emma Watson and Daniel Radcliffe on your TV or computer screens when you can get to walk in their footsteps and see their magical world in their very eyes? Afterall, isn't love about understanding the other party as best you could? This multi-award winning film now comes to life at the ArtScience Museum at Marina Bay Sands, where you can get up-close to hundreds of authentic costumes and props from all eight Harry Potter films. Step into Hogwarts such as the Gryffindor common room, Hagrid's hut, and the Great Hall, or even pull a Mandrake from its pot, toss a Quaffle in the Quidditch area and soak in the sheer awesomeness of cetaurs, Buckbeak the Hippogriff and a giant Acromantula spider in the Forbidden Forest.
For those of you whose brows crease together at the name "Harry Potter", despair not! We have a treat installed for you as well, in the form of pop artist Andy Warholl. Encounter over 260 paintings, drawings, sculptures, film and video from this great legend. Peer into Andy Warhol's Silver Factory (his studio in New York) recreated. Play up your childish side with a special display for children, where you get to perceive his artworks in a child's lenses. Be inspired by his iconic works like Campbell's Soup Can (1961), Silver Liz (1963), Time Capsule 51 (1970's), The Last Supper (1986) and famous Self-Portraits.

Summer camp 2012, The Certificate in Visual Arts combines CMA's signature Marketing, Advertising & Design (MAD); the camp provides students with Visual Communication skills as well as Digital Design skills, taught within 2 weeks of fun, learning and unforgettable experiences. As the world-renowned authority on color, it has since been paving the way for the colorful exploration and expression of creativity in the various industries. In this event, participants will be exposed to the world of colors, as well as the methods in which Pantone is able to aid in the communication of color from designer to manufacturer to retailer to customer.

Robert Gaxiola was previously the Interim Executive Creative Director at Ogilvy & Mather Singapore, which he joined in 2009. In a short span of 2 years, he has led the company forward, leading them to numerous awards along the way. Under his leadership, Ogilvy Singapore was named Singapore's Creative Agency of the year in 2009 and 2010.
Robert has won a D&AD Yellow Pencil award, 2 Silver Lions and 3 Bronze Lions. He was also named the Hall of Fame's first creative director of the year; he chaired the 4A's Creative Circle Awards and represented Singapore on the Cannes Lion's jury.
Robert just started a new creative agency alongside Stephen Mangham, who is the Ex-Group Chairman of Ogilvy. Their Agency is named Manghamgaxiola, and already has $25 Million in billings.
Robert's extensive experience working in big and small advertising agencies has given him a wealth of information, as well as his views opinions would strongly benefit our students. This is certainly an event you do not want to miss.
