He plays a critical role in recognising and nurturing the many talents of his students to maximise their creative potential.

With Kenji’s passion in teaching, mentorship and engagement with his students over the last few years, he has personally nurtured and groomed many successful design practitioners and designpreneurs. To date, his past students have won more than 80 local and international awards and recognition from Singapore, Germany, Canada, United Kingdom and America.

Kenji believes that every student has the potential to be a successful designer if they have the right attitude and aptitude in their learning. His ultimate objective as a design educator is to ensure all of his graduating students are industry-ready and relevant for the competitive marketplace.
