Established in 2003, Chatsworth Medi@rt Academy (CMA) is the first Marketing, Advertising & Design Integrated School in Asia, providing a series of Marketing + Advertising + Design (M.A.D.) integrated courses for students who aspire to be leaders in the marketing, advertising and creative industries. Since then, our students are equipped with a designer's comprehensive skill set, the marketing professional's analytical abilities and the advertising professional's strategic acumen. Our graduates have the potential to be an independent Adman who is capable of developing and executing an effective advertising campaign; some have gone on to work for premier ad agencies, started their design-entrepreneurial work or pursued further education with advance standing.

As a school, M.A.D. provides professional and industrial-oriented knowledge and skills; students are enabled to excel in creative advertising and designs while gaining survival skills and strategies from lecturers who are 100% industrial players in the creative field.

With a good number of our MAD talents making their mark in their chosen creative fields, the M.A.D. formula for our students is paying off. This could surely be the path for you too.

Co-founder I Make The Change

Michelle Lim is the CEO and Co-Founder of award-winning creative school, M.A.D. School by Chatsworth Medi@rt Academy and social enterprise (creative agency) Make The Change. She has been actively involved in tertiary education and lifelong learning since 1996. She has witnessed and contributed to the landscape of private education, and is experienced in developing curriculum that is closely connected with what the industry requires rather than being purely academic-focused. She advocates that everyone can be creative. With her extensive connection with professionals from the marketing, advertising and design industry, her real time, real learning methodology has transformed and produced - within a short period of three years - many award-winning creatives who started from ground zero.

Her unconventional approach to education and many ground-breakingmethodologies have earned M.A.D. School a reputation as the pioneer of New Education in Singapore (Channel NewsAsia, December 2014). Her social enterprise Make The Change is an extension of her education philosophy. Her current students and graduates are actively engaged in social community projects under the mentorships of creative directors contributing their strategic thinking and creative skills for social sectororganisations and community projects. She took her Bachelor of Science in Management Studies awarded by University of London.

Both her companies were set up with shoe-string a budget. Her ‘MAD’ experience from a senior corporate executive to businesswoman in education and creative industry will serve as a good mentor and advisor to students who are thinking of starting their own business venture after M.A.D. education.

Kenji Choo

Kenji Choo
Academic Director, Chatsworth Medi@rt Academy

As M.A.D. School’s Academic Director, Kenji has accumulated more than 10 years of professional teaching experience as a design educator and 20 years of relevant job experiences as a creative practitioner in the graphic design, branding, advertising, packaging, publishing and printing industries.  


Kenji graduated with a distinction in Master of Design from Curtin University of Technology, Australia, in 2003 and received a year of professional packaging design training from Japan in 1991.


As a design educator, Kenji shows keen interest in his students’ learning, shares beyond information and knowledge while engaging his students in design thinking, critical thinking, creative problem solving and cultivating active learning. He plays a critical role in recognising and nurturing the many talents of his students to maximise their creative potential.


With Kenji’s passion for teaching, mentorship and engagement with his students over the last few years, he has personally nurtured and groomed many successful design practitioners and designpreneurs. To date, his past students have won more than 100 local and international awards and recognition from Singapore, Germany, Canada, United Kingdom and America.


Kenji believes that every student has the potential to be a successful designer if they have the right attitude and aptitude in their learning. His ultimate objective as a design educator is to ensure all of his graduating students are industry-ready and relevant for the competitive marketplace.

Nick Goh
Chief Executive Officer of YP Digital

Nick Goh is the Chief Executive Officer of YP Digital, a division of the restructured Yellow Pages Pte Ltd. Nick brings to YP Digital over 22+ years of expertise in branding, advertising and digital marketing.  

Having spent time in both local and international agencies, Nick has managed a number of notable brands such as Acer Computer International, AMD, Canon, Cisco Systems, Cloudera, Far East Organisation, IBM (with Juniper Networks), Microsoft Partners, MTV Asia, Red Hat Asia Pacific, SAP, Singtel Consumer Sales, Singtel Mobile, Sun Microsystems, SMU and many more.


Nick holds degrees from UWA (Australia) and NUS (Honours) and is a seasoned digital marketing lecturer and trainer having achieved training certifications in ACTA and DACE (offered by Institute for Adult Learning Singapore under MOE, SSG). Nick's mantra in today’s digital economy is "never stop learning to improve your business and yourself".

Christina Teo
Founder of Startup Asia Women

Christina is an experienced consultant, trainer and coach with solid senior executive management experience.  Christina brings with her more than 25 years of executive management, marketing, business and human development in the IT, Internet, mobile, fashion and skincare industry. She has an extensive track record in developing regional strategies and tracking market developments, with a deep understanding of the markets and business models of consumer IT and large enterprise solutions; mobile products, as well as fashion and skincare retail.

Christina’s last corporate portfolio was as the Chief Marketing Officer of Hong Kong’s 2nd largest mobile service provider, CSL Limited, leading a team of 90 and directly accountable for selected consumer businesses contributing to 40% of the company’s total revenue – namely the devices and pre-paid business and directly responsible for pricing and marketing of all consumer products and services as well as supporting the marketing of B2B corporate services


Consulting for UK-based BrandLearning, she engages with large corporates in consumer and pharmaceuticals to facilitate building in-house marketing capabilities. As a licensed Master Practitioner, she conducts training workshops in leadership excellence, negotiation, and sales/marketing using Neuro-Linguistic programming (NLP) and Everything DiSC tools. In the last two years, she has been involved in mentoring start-ups as well.

Daniel Ng
Advisor - Digital Economy, OpenGov Asia

Spending more than 25 years in senior marketing positions, Daniel has in-depth knowledge on B2B marketing on both traditional and digital platforms for companies with the like of IBM, Microsoft, Cloudera, CommVault Systems, etc.


Currently the Senior Director of Marketing for Cloudera APAC, Daniel's role includes end-to-end marketing; from strategy development to execution, encompassing RTMs of channels and direct in the enterprise and SMB space, championing GTM strategies including traditional and digital approaches.
